Stephen D. White

Originally from Erie, Penn., Stephen started in county government and the tax assessing field in 1999 working for Erie County government in the tax assessor's office. In 2000, he accepted a position with Tyler Technologies as a Residential Supervisor. He was promoted in 2002 to Project Manager. In this position he oversaw revaluation projects in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2002, he was assigned to a revaluation project in Worthing, England, where he worked on a team of regression modelers and appraisers in developing models for England's country-wide revaluation project.
In 2005, Mr. White accepted the position of Residential Supervisor with the Cobb County (Georgia) Board of Tax Assessors. In 2010, he was promoted to Deputy Chief Appraiser. In 2013, he was promoted to the position of Director/Chief Appraiser of the Cobb County Tax Assessor's office. He holds an Appraiser IV certification from the State of Georgia. Additionally, he is serving as chairman of the Education Committee for the Georgia Association of Assessing Officials (GAAO). Stephen is a certified instructor for the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and teaches Assessment Administration, Management, and Mass Appraisal in the state of Georgia for IAAO.
Stephen and his wife, Yvonne, have two young boys, Micah and Quincy. He and his family live in Acworth, GA.
