Ed brings over 30 years of real estate, property appraisal, mass appraisal, geographic information systems, quality management principals and property tax administration experience in consulting, managerial supervision and administration. Ed has served as the elected Property Appraiser of Alachua County Florida since 1980. His jurisdiction was the first to earn IAAO's prestigious Excellence in Assessment Administration. He has served as President of his State Association, his local Chapter of ASA and served as president of IAAO in 2000-2001.

Ed has 3 professional designations including IAAO's AAS he has made numerous presentations and earned many awards from State, Local and National Organizations. As well as having overseen the growth of Alachua County 's tax roll from $1.5 billion to $14 billion he implemented Alachua County 's first successful GIS. He has served as a consultant both nationally and internationally.
